FAQ Page

Do I have to pay for a quotation?

No, all quotations are FREE! Standard translation projects are simple to quote for, and will often be returned within two hours. However, some quotations require a lot of detail to be able to cover the full project.  For example, the localization of an e-commerce website is divided between static content, the product catalogue, project management, technical localization and updates, and as such a quotation will require more preparation time.

Can you translate images?

Yes. Some translation agencies do not translate image texts because of the complexities and cost involved. Web-Translations can localize almost all graphics files. Layered files are priced lower than flat files because they are less time consuming.

What is website localization?

Website localization is the process of adapting a website for a linguistically and culturally different audience, making it appropriate to local tastes. Expressing prices in a particular currency, formatting dates and measurements, adapting links to point to pages in the same language and ensuring that the material is culturally relevant and appropriate are all examples of website localization.
