Ellis Brigham, specialists in gear for outdoor activities, have launched new foreign language microsites as part of an initiative to better serve their expanding customer base and provide the most up-to-date information on the company’s outdoor clothing, equipment and footwear ranges. The microsites are available in a range of global languages, including Japanese, German and Greek.

With products for skiing, snowboarding, climbing, mountaineering, camping, travelling, running, biking and trekking, Ellis Brigham are the UK’s leading independent outdoor sports retailer.

From humble beginnings as a specialist boot seller in Manchester, Ellis Brigham have grown over the past 80 years and now offer everything from ice axes to snowboarding goggles to cycling backpacks. Passionate about outdoor sports, they are still a family-owned company, and proudly sponsor and employ professional skiers and snowboarders. There are over 25 shops across the UK, and the wide product range is also available online and by catalogue.

Ellis Brigham chose Web-Translations to create bespoke microsites comprising a landing page with product category information as well as specific best-selling products, and also a shipping page with additional information about delivery costs and return policies.

Microsites are also available in: Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and French. Ellis Brigham will systematically add additional translated microsites for other regions, as well as expanding the content in the existing microsites.
