Orlebar Brown

CASE STUDY

Localisation of eCommerce site into German, including static pages, product content and payment gateway.

Orlebar Brown is a menswear retailer with four central London shops and a thriving online business. Known for their tailored approach to swim shorts, they also offer a range of casualwear designed to be worn on holiday or at home.

With market research showing a strong demand for their brand and products in Germany, Orlebar Brown selected Web-Translations to localise their eCommerce website into German.

Orlebar Brown’s Content Management System, Pootle, permitted the static content to be exported, localised, and then re-imported. Product content was exported and localised within .po files, and the SagePay content was contained within .xml files. All content was localised, including validation messages, buttons, titles tags and meta descriptions.

After a successful launch, Web-Translations carried out post-project SEO to improve the brand’s visibility online.
